Greenops trilobites can be found in many localities in New York State. Different species appear in different formations with the occasional undescribed species popping up. G. barberi is the species that I feel most closely resembles the G. widderensis from my home range of the hamilton group in Ontario. Beautiful trilobites with a dark brown/black coloration. Due to their fragile nature, these aren't seen too often on the market in high grade quality. Prepared slowly under microscope with soft air abrasion, the macro photos show the quality of our preparation.
