Trilobites from the Mckay group, British Columbia are stunningly well-preserved and treasured by collectors the world over. The scenic mountains where these bugs are found are among the best, most exciting localities I have ever personally collected at. Many species found here have been described as recently as 2016 by Chatterton, New and Jenkins. Well preserved Cambrian trilobites like those from the McKay group give us a window into the incredible diversity of these shelled arthropods.

UPDATE: New laws have been (very) quietly passed that essentially state that trilobites collected in BC may not leave the province. The erosion of collecting rights has been the result of continual short-sighted academic pressure and public apathy. Luckily I have collected a number of specimens before this law went into effect. It will be more difficult to obtain quality specimens in the future.
